Best Gift Ever
Received it as a Graduation Gift from my parents when they first came out. It is from the first year of the Select line of guitars. The top is absolutely beautiful. I have mine with gold hardware. They came in chrome hardware with locking tuners and gold hardware with gold tuners with pearloid tuning pegs. The neck is AAA birdseye maple with a satin finish back and gloss front. On top of looking awesome, the guitar sounds fantastic. When the tone knob is wide open, the pot is bypassed completely, giving you that awesome esquire-esque tone.

Delta tone pots rule... lets your modern tele bridge sound like an old esquire in selector position 3.... good review.

My God, that is a beautiful guitar. Shame that it's $1000 and more, even on eBay.
