Fender Classic Player '60s Stratocaster review | MusicRadar

musicradar.com

The Fender Classic Player '60s Stratocaster impresses with its Custom Shop-inspired build quality and vintage style. This Strat offers great performance with its Custom '69 pickups, delivering a slightly hotter sound for a more aggressive play while maintaining vintage tones. The sonic blue finish and mint scratchplate enhance its visual appeal. Although it doesn't quite match the '50s Classic Player's performance, it's a superbly crafted guitar offering excellent value for its price. If you're seeking a vintage vibe with modern playability, this Strat is a fantastic option.

I'm in love with this thing

I've always been a Tele guy. This is my first Strat. It plays like butter and has the best clean tones I've ever heard.

Preferred Settings + Usage:

The neck and middle pickups together are my favorite for clean rhythms. The neck pickup by itself is great for clean lead work. The neck and bridge pickup are great (clean) for funk or overdriven for heavier things.
