Description
Dive into the legacy of grunge with the Fender Kurt Cobain Jag-Stang Electric Guitar in Fiesta Red, a tribute to the revolutionary spirit of Nirvana's frontman and his quest for the perfect sound. Celebrating the iconic Nevermind era, this guitar is more than an instrument—it's a piece of music history designed by Kurt Cobain himself, blending his favorite features of the Fender Jaguar and Mustang into a unique creation that helped define the sound of a generation.
Crafted to meet Kurt's versatile playing needs, the Jag-Stang stands out with its distinct alder body, producing a punchy tone ideal for everything from soul-stirring melodies to roaring power chords. The 24” short-scale and the 7.25” radius rosewood fingerboard ensure a playing experience that's as comfortable as it is thrilling, reducing string tension and making it easier to navigate the fretboard. The combination of vintage-style single-coil and custom humbucking pickups offers a sonic palette wide enough to cover the entire spectrum of Cobain's groundbreaking tones. With the added flexibility of the Mustang slider switches, you have the power to explore a variety of sounds, from the crystal-clear to the delightfully distorted, all at your fingertips.
Whether you're a die-hard Nirvana fan, a lover of the grunge era, or a guitarist in search of an instrument with a soul, the Jag-Stang is a testament to the creative genius of Kurt Cobain and the timeless appeal of Fender craftsmanship.

Tot nu toe staat ie dus nog steeds stof te verzamelen. which translates to: On tour I once saw someone play a Fender Jag-Stang, one of those Kurt Cobain signature models. I thought it looked and sounded really cool and immediately bought one through Reverb the next day. But once I got it in my hands at home, I actually didn't like playing it at all.
