The Fender Electric Nylon Strings Stratocaster STCL-100 is a rare and unique electric guitar produced by Fender Japan in the mid-1990s, designed to blend the iconic Stratocaster shape with the playability and feel of nylon-string instruments. Instead of traditional steel-strung electric specs, it’s fitted for nylon strings, making it easier to play and ideal for fingerstyle or classical techniques through an electric platform. The lightweight ash body and bolt-on neck help deliver balanced tone and comfortable handling. Equipped with a synchronized tremolo and special pickup/preamp configuration, it offers unusual tonal options compared with typical Strat® guitars. Due to its niche nature and limited production, it’s sought after by collectors and players interested in hybrid electric-classical designs.
