    Source
  • The 8-screw pickguard design is authentic to the 1950s style, aligning with historical Fender specifications.

    Source

Setup and maintenance

  • It's important to check the offset position of the middle screws on the back spring cover plate for authenticity.

    Source
  • Adjusting the tremolo and neck properly is crucial for optimizing playability, especially given the vintage neck's impact on chord and lead playing.

    Source
  • Vintera models use modern components in vintage-style electronics, with some 'Modified' versions incorporating modern features like S1 circuits.

    Source

User experience

  • Vintage necks are favored for easier chord playing, but may require adjustments to handle lead playing effectively due to the 7.25" radius.

Fender Vintera II ’50s Stratocaster — a new gauge for import Strats

guitar.com

Fender's Vintera II ’50s Stratocaster hits a sweet spot for vintage enthusiasts seeking authenticity without breaking the bank. With redesigned pickups and a comfortable neck profile, it delivers classic Strat tones that resonate well with players. However, the gloss poly finish and some cost-cutting compromises may deter purists. While it may not fully rival high-end models in nuanced sound, it offers an impressive experience for its price. Ultimately, it’s a solid choice for those wanting that vintage vibe at a more accessible cost, but budget-conscious buyers should be aware of its limitations.

Fender Vintera '50s Stratocaster Modified Review | GuitarPlayer

guitarplayer.com

The Fender Vintera '50s Stratocaster Modified strikes a harmonious balance between vintage aesthetics and modern functionality. Its comfortable playability and versatile tones make it a compelling choice for players seeking classic vibes with contemporary performance. However, some fret ends on the review model were slightly sharp, which may detract from the overall experience. Despite this minor flaw, the guitar's solid construction and impressive sonic capabilities, particularly with higher-gain settings, make it a worthy addition to any guitarist's collection.

Great guitar ... who needs some adjustment.

Excellent violin, great pickups, super comfortable neck (soft V) ... really happiness to play and hear.

Just a shame not to have a bone nut and a neck reversal right out of the box ... for a guitar at this price, it's unfortunate

Also, but this is a very personal opinion, I hate the fashion for "relic" guitars, so the choice of cream-colored for knobs and pickups covers ... I find it very ugly! So I quickly changed all of that for the same white as the pickguard.

Like a lot of guitarists, I especially love positions 1 and 4 of these famous Strat pickups!
