Talkin' guitars again: Me and my black Gibson 335 captured by photographer Stefan Vollstädt somewhere on tour in Germany circa ' 08. This photo was later used for the Transfigured Night-single "Voice of Burden". A marvelous track, by the way. I originally purchased the guitar while visiting The Walkabouts in Seattle, USA. I was then playing on their album "Acetylene". When I got back home, I immediately fired it up, which can be heard to great effect on the song "Wintersong" (from my solo-album "Volume 3"). This is without question the loudest guitar I got, and I pulled it out for the hard-rocking "Snow In Berlin" on the Midnight Choir 2016 Tour. She´s a black beauty indeed, and I can´t wait to use her again. Come see us when Midnight Choir returns live on stage in 2017! Photo: Stefan Vollstädt
