Great and affordable guitar
Ibanez made a limited run of these back in 2015, along with the GFR20GSP. They were sold for about $190 or 150 quid. I admit I haven't tried other Ibbie GIO guitars but from what I've heard, these are great value for money guitars.
My personal opinion may not mean much as this is my first electric guitar but I love it. It's made of poplar and has a maple neck with a rosewood fretboard. It's got gold coloured knobs and pickup covers. A lovely matte finished neck which isn't too thin or thick. One thing you can't see from pictures of it is its paint job. It's gloss black but it's got this subtle sparkle if you hold it close, I'm sorry if that doesn't seem clear but it looks good on the guitar though. Can't comment on the quality of the humbucker pickups since I don't have an amp yet. I'm hooking it up to Rocksmith for now.
Overall, it feels pretty solid for a guitar at this price range.
