The TV550 features a resoncast body bolted to a maple neck with a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard with dot position markers. Components include a floating synchronized tremolo bridge and dual Sky humbucking pickups flanking a Sky lipstick-style single coil mounted over a sound cavity on a pearloid pickguard.
