The Iris AB Model is a testament to modern craftsmanship intertwined with vintage allure, capturing the heart of any guitarist seeking both elegance and performance. Inspired by the iconic J-185, this small jumbo acoustic guitar offers a harmonious blend of balance and power, delivering a rich tonal palette that caters to both delicate fingerpicking and robust strumming.
Crafted by the esteemed Iris Guitar Company in Vermont, the AB Model embodies meticulous artistry, showcasing a hand-scalloped Adirondack brace system. This feature, paired with a Sitka Spruce top and Mahogany back and sides, ensures a resonant sound with exceptional clarity. The guitar's tighter waist enhances its versatility, making it an ideal companion for both studio settings and live performances.
The AB Model is designed with player comfort and precision in mind, boasting a 25" scale length, a 1-3/4" bone nut width, and a 2-5/16" string spacing at the bridge. The Indian Rosewood fingerboard and bridge add a touch of classic beauty, while the Firestripe pickguard provides a distinctive aesthetic flair. Finished with a Burst Nitrocellulose Satin, this guitar not only sounds exquisite but looks stunning too.
