Description

Unleash your inner thrash metal maestro with the Jackson Death Angel, the signature electric guitar of Rob Cavestany from Death Angel. This guitar is a sonic powerhouse designed for complex arrangements and lightning-fast fretwork, capturing the essence of Bay Area thrash. Inspired by Cavestany's teenage sketch, its wickedly offset X-shaped body is crafted from nyatoh, providing a bold visual statement and balanced tonal foundation. The sleek, through-body maple neck enhances sustain and stability, while the 12"–16" compound radius rosewood fingerboard with 24 jumbo frets invites effortless, high-speed runs and string bends.

Equipped with a thunderous EMG 81 humbucking bridge pickup, this ax delivers searing intensity and a fluid sustain that cuts through any mix. The EMG HA neck pickup ensures clarity and warmth with a rich blend of harmonics, making it versatile for articulate chording and bright single-coil tones. The Floyd Rose Special double-locking tremolo bridge provides rock-solid tuning stability, allowing for expressive dive bombs and whammy antics without a hitch.

Perfect for those who seek sheer metal ferocity in their sound and style, the Jackson Death Angel is wrapped in a sleek Satin Black finish, complemented by black hardware and a pointed Jackson headstock. It's a guitar that doesn't just play music; it commands attention.

The Jackson Death Angel is the brainchild between Rob and Jackson. It has the same body type of the Warriors, but with a SG-style horn. Cavestany owns many of these guitars - one in a orange/yellow crackle finish, one in white (as picture), one in black, one in a blue flame finish, and one in a dark red finish. All of them feature some sort of black burst as well, and are equipped with Floyd Roses, EMGs, and 24 fret necks with either ebony or rosewood fretboards and tear drop inlays.
