    Source
  • Pickup swaps to Fishman Modern Fluence or Seymour Duncan Nazgul/Sentient sets are popular for improved tonal versatility.

    Source
  • Owners suggest experimenting with EMG 81-7/85-7 or passive Duncan pickups for enhanced tonal quality, and considering a Hipshot bridge for aesthetic and alignment reasons.

Jackson JS22-7 DKA Dinky HT review | Guitar World

guitarworld.com

An impressive entry into the 7-string market, the Jackson JS22-7 DKA Dinky HT dazzles with its sleek design and superb playability at an unbeatable price. With a compound radius fretboard and a lightweight body, it’s tailored for heavy riffing and rapid solos. However, minor quality control issues and some muddiness in the pickups may deter discerning players. Despite these flaws, it remains a solid choice for beginners eager to dive into extended-range guitars without breaking the bank.

Great

I've had this guitar for 2 months. I've wanted a 7 string guitar since I figured out that's what Korn used. I finally bought one and this guitar feels great and plays great. I used Drop G tuning and the pickups handle it fine, just don't overuse gain and you shouldn't have any problems.
