Wicked fast guitar at an amazing price
I was very surprised when I purchased this guitar, never been a Jackson fan until now. For starters, the finish is super nice, the white fits perfectly with the black binding. The shape is super comfortable to play both standing and sitting, and it's incredibly light. It's loaded with active EMG 85 and 81's, making it louder and more sharply intonnated than any of my other guitars, perfect for rhythm or lead metal guitar.
A single piece body with a dual reinforced neck neck really sealed the deal for me, the sustain on this guy is incredible! And the maple fret-board is wicked fast in and of itself.
I do wish it had a separate volume and tone control for both pickups, but I mostly use the bridge pickup anyways, so it's not a deal breaker. Also not a huge fan of the ball inserts for the bridge as they have a tendency to fall out when restringing, have to make extra careful you don't lose those.
All in all this is one super shredder for a great price, super happy with my purchase and hope it serves me well for many years to come.
