Description
Elevate your guitar’s sonic potential with the Lace Sensor Drop & Gain Pickup, a breakthrough in electric guitar pickups designed to thrive in drop "D" tunings and high-gain environments. This innovative pickup addresses the notorious challenges of muddy tones and compromised note clarity, ensuring that every riff and chord shines with clarity and power.
The Lace Sensor technology features patented mismatched coils, redefining the classic humbucker design. By utilizing coils that vary in resistance—one at 15.1k and the other at 9.0k—the pickup achieves a powerful drive with impeccable articulation. This thoughtful engineering mitigates the excessive string vibration typically seen in drop tunings, offering a balance between robust sound and precise note definition.
Whether you’re shredding with a baritone guitar or sticking to standard tunings, the Lace Sensor Drop & Gain Pickup adapts effortlessly, making it a versatile companion for various musical styles. Its unique single-coil design minimizes hum, enhancing dynamic range without introducing unwanted noise. Plus, the included mini data CD provides colorful wiring diagrams and valuable resources, ensuring you have all the tools needed to unlock the full potential of your instrument.

S-tier pickups for heavy, downtuned music
Absolutely phenomenal pickups with tons of bite. I usually tune to Drop A# and use quite a bit of gain, and I still have tons of clarity.
