Great overall sound - A good go to acoustic for finger picking
Tonally balanced sounding instrument. It's very bright however, maybe too much so if you're strumming chords with a pick. I fingerpick and the sound is perfect for that. Also, the strings are spaced fairly wide, this makes it even better for finger picking. Great deep resonating tone. Loud. I purchased in 2002 or 2003 for around $750 new with a case, not sure what they go for new today. At the time the build quality seemed on par with guitars that were more heavily priced. Also, mine has a clear pick guard, white binding all the way around the neck, small metal dot inlays and ebony fretboard, and ebony bridge... it just feels classy.
