Sylenth1 Summary.
This software synth has been around for quite some time. However, its sound quality is astounding. Leads, pads, arpeggiators, synth bass and more. The sounds are inspiring and very usable not only in electronic music productions but rock music as well. One of my favorite software synths.

Powerful in the right hands
The title says it all. Sylenth1 is a powerful subtractive synthesizer and very easy to use, making it awful common in electronic music composition. Although the interface may be a slight turnoff (the plugin was built to emulate analog hardware) the sounds that an experienced user can create are amazing. Even if a person doesn't know sound design in depth, messing around with some of the parameters might just create something amazing and I think that this is the only synth in my collection that I really know very well.

Not the most innovative, but sounds AMAZING
It doesn't really add anything new to the subtractive formula, but don't be fooled - it's easy to program and it sounds absolutely amazing. You can do a surprising amount with it if you use the modulation envelopes and LFOs that it provides.

Eh
I personally don't see what all the craze is about for this synth. It sounds fine, I mean it certainly doesn't sound bad by any means. But there are synths out there right now that sound even better and offer a superior workflow. And that is precisely what I do not like about Sylenth; I don't like its workflow.

Great sound and easy to use!!!
Sylenth1 came to 64 bit/Apple way too late in my opinion. However, that being said, it didn't stop me from picking this up when it did come available about a year ago. It has a very crisp, clear and warm analog type sound that is worth the praise. I feel Hive gives it a bit of a run for its money especially if you are looking for a slightly grittier, perhaps more digital sound.

Very nice synth, Very good and versatile
This synth, does pretty much all you could ask for, it makes a deep warm bass, a nice lead, or ambient pads! Very good for all skill levels as well, a very nice all around synth!

Incredible but Lack of Support
This synth is great in terms of sound quality and what it can produce but the owner has yet to update to 64 bit for Mac and There needs to be a better preset search function. Terrible for trying to sort through your sounds. For this reason, I use other synths more. I use this for my sub and stab sounds. Sometimes Arps.

Definitely worth purchasing!!!
So I will admit I had a cracked version of this VST to checkout. Once Sound Oracle made his pack called #BeenTrappin , I HAD to get the official copy to be able to use his pack and what a great decision. I love the amount of expansions, I love the sound design ability as well! Made a Killer 808 from Sylenth1!
