Dave uses two Marshall JFX-1s, according to Guitar Geek.
What kind of equipment do you use? Guitars ... pick ups ... amps ...? Do you use different equipment in the studio and when playing live? If so, why?
I have two guitars I use fixed. One is an Epiphone Les Paul and the other is an LTD CC 1000. Both are original. They have a slightly different tone, which gives me more possibilities in terms of sound. The amp I use is the same one I have used for almost 20 years. I have a Marshall JMP 1 preamp, Marshall JFX 1 processor, and a Marshall EL34 50/50 end stage. When playing live, I use Marshall Lead 1960 4x12 cabinets. In the studio I do not use speakers, but take the line signal from JMP..n right in the table.
