Music Man RP112 100 W (1979)

" My main amp, a true love story with it ... ( I've made 400km to get it, you don't see this amp everyday in France ) I've put 2 TAD 6L6 tubes inside, and it's stock speaker (Electrovoice ), amazing clean tone, full and rich, percussive and hot sound, it takes pedals perfectly. I bought it to an old man with a cheap price, it's my lucky amp ! "

they're everywhere here in the states.... 15 years ago I coulda got you a pile of them for a couple hundred euros if you were willing to paya ctual shipping.... now they're getting pricey. The great thing about these amps is they enver break and never need service. Technically you should bias them but they seem to run great regardless of drifting bias.... road warrios

Hello, I have one of them. These are very good amp and not widely used in France. Mine is 1979 and it uses 6CA7 power tubes. However, do not hesitate to replace the capacitors on the HV and LV power supply. Even if you make it to a technician, it will cost you a few tens of euros. These famous capacitors reach the end of life after 20 years on average on these amps.
