Description

The NUX PDI-1G Active DI Box is a versatile and robust solution for musicians and audio engineers seeking pristine sound quality across various settings. Whether you're on stage, in the studio, or rehearsing, this DI box ensures your instrument's high-impedance signal is cleanly converted to a low-impedance, balanced output.

Designed with musicians in mind, the PDI-1G features a selectable speaker-cabinet simulation, allowing you to send an amp-like character directly to your mixer or recording interface. This means you can achieve that classic miked amp sound without the need for cumbersome microphones. The PDI-1G also offers flexibility in powering options, operating on either 48V phantom power or a 9V DC power supply, making it adaptable to any setup.

Connectivity is seamless with its parallel output, ensuring your stage amplifier's sound is preserved while the balanced XLR output feeds into the console. A three-position input-level selector accommodates various signal strengths, from passive pickups to hot amp outputs, without risk of clipping. Additionally, the ground-lift switch effectively eliminates hum and buzz, providing a clean and professional sound regardless of environment.

Housed in a rugged steel chassis, the NUX PDI-1G is built to withstand the rigors of touring while maintaining a compact form factor. Its user-friendly design makes it the perfect companion for live performances, studio recordings, and even live-streaming setups.

Key Features:

  • Selectable speaker-cabinet simulation for direct amp-like tone
  • Operates on 48V phantom or 9V DC power
  • High-impedance ¼″ input optimized for guitar and bass
  • Parallel output for simultaneous use with amplifiers
  • Balanced XLR output for noise-free signal transfer

Affordable and unique-sounding

This is a little-known gem from China with great features. It's phantom-powered and rugged and sounds similar enough to high-end expensive branded competitive products that I don't care - I bought two!! Highly recommend this DI Box. It sounds great in the studio and on stage.
