Pioneer CDJ-1000 review: Pioneer CDJ-1000 - CNET

cnet.com

The Pioneer CDJ-1000 shines with its turntable-like interface and solid performance, making it a top pick for vinyl-spinning DJs seeking a CD alternative. Its tactile jog dial and pitch-control slider mimic record player functions excellently and offer a short learning curve. Despite its hefty price and audible drive noise, the CDJ-1000 impresses with features like Hot Cue buttons, Loop function, and MMC slot for storing cue points. It delivers good sound quality, though purists may miss the warmth of vinyl. Overall, a pricey yet powerful tool for serious DJs.

Got the MK3.. Love it

Got a pair of these, quite a while ago.. Only £600.. was a steal.. Best for new DJ's.. if you can DJ on these you can DJ on anything.. if i had to choose between CDJ900 Nxs and This.. Would still prefer having 3 of these on stage. Only draw back, you got to burn CD's
