Unbeatable bang for your buck

Comes in a number finishes, red, sea foam green, and greenburst. I got the greenburst a few months ago and am massively impressed. Considering this cost well under £300, the build quality is superb. Comes with humbuckers, but has a coil tap which is engaged by pulling the tone knob.They don't sound as muscular as you'd find on, say, a Les Paul, and there's not a particularly seismic difference when in single coil mode, but they sound fine to me and if you use pedals, then it's not really a problem. Bridge is an adjust-o-matic type and is very stable. There's a Varitone knob with six positions, going from a nice clean to a slightly overdriven sound, so the tonal possibilities should be sufficient to suit most and it sounds great to my, albeit very amateur, ears. Neck feels reassuringly chunky with a varnished fretboard. To be honest I think you'd be hard pressed to find a better built, better sounding or better looking guitar for the money.
