Switches are made out of Kleenex. DO NOT BUY!
Back in December 2020 I made my purchase on the Rocktron MIDI Raider, hoping that I'd be able to save money on a MIDI controller for my rack rig I'm currently building. The MIDI functions work as advertised - the preset mode and the CC IA buttons function just as expected...
...that was, until recently when the MIDI controller failed on me. Buttons 10 and 15 died on me, and button 3 had a loose washer that took me hours to readjust! Turns out that the tightness of the nuts that hold the buttons affect the performance of the MIDI controller when it shouldn't be, where if I tighten the nuts not enough or too much, the button won't even respond. Even worse, when I tried contacting the dealer for RMA request, those guys were condescending towards me, as if they were trying to start a fight with me. Tried contacting local repair shops here in Toronto, no dice. Tried contacting Rocktron directly, they were of no help to me at all. Wow...just fucking wow...what a great way to show support for your products, Rocktron! (NOT!)
It's unrealistic for me to recommend this unit to ANYONE when it's clear that the critical components of the unit (which, in this case, are the nuts holding the switches in place) can easily fail at any point in time.
The MIDI functionalities work as advertised; however, Rocktron built the switches out of Kleenex. It is NOT road-worthy, so unless you're fine with bringing a wrench along to every single one of your gigs that you play in, DO NOT BUY!

Good Modern Pedal
I have had the Midi Raider for a few years matched to their patchmate8 switcher unit. Similar to the GCX from other company but bought more up to date, and the midi raider has a smaller footprint on stage or in the studio so is a more preferred unit these days.
You can control just about anything with this pedal and the patchmate8 (which can chain up to 4 units) so flexibility is incredible and stuff like this the pro's use.

If you're looking for a MIDI controller for your Bradshaw-style rig, seriously consider the RJM Mastermind's. They're expensive, but they'll be far MORE reliable than the piece of shit that is the MIDI Raider.

It will be limiting in some ways, but reliability-wise it'll be FAR better than the MIDI Raider.
