THE overdrive pedal.

That's a really nice piece of unit especially for playing in a heavy amp with a lot of low frequencies like the Mesa Boogie Dual/Triple Rectifier. Provides a clarity to the overall overdriven sound. Glad to have it!

I have a Mesa Boogie Grid Slammer; this thing is the bees knees. Turns your average high gain amp into an animal. It is my constant runner that punches my gain through the roof without losing the low end. Something about the combination of this pedal and my head really make my tone perfect. It is my secret weapon, and there’s no doubt that it makes my tone

“I use this on the front side, that’s my Tube Screamer right now. I don’t have it on right now, though, because the pickups are really hot in the guitars I’m using right now, so I actually don’t really need that. But over in the States I usually use it, as it gives a nice bite.”
