Critic Reviews

Roland’s Aira Compact P-6 puts ‘creative sampling’ in your pocket, and has a built-in mic and USB-C audio interface | MusicRadar

musicradar.com

Roland's AIRA Compact P-6 Sampler brings an exciting, portable sampling experience with features like a built-in mic, USB-C interface, and a variety of creative effects. Its 64-step sequencer and granular sampling capabilities make it a joy for live performance and sound design. However, while it offers unique tactile advantages over mobile apps, some may find its price and size less appealing compared to full-fledged samplers. Overall, the P-6 is a compelling choice for those seeking creativity on the go, but it may not replace more robust tools for serious producers.

cheap and powerful

it's pretty kewl but like the ports are just 3.5 mm jack, and i can't save to external storage besides dragging and dropping files thru usb c to computer. i would give this a 4.5/5 if i could. i think a 4/5 is doing it less justice, as this is what i would end up using during the time i was searching for more computers to use fl studio on, and it's definitely heavily underrated.

Preferred Settings + Usage:

get some old pc speakers for the output. i will say: i've yet to learn all of this machine, even now. if anyone out there is a master at the p-6, i would love to get to know you. you seem pretty epic.

also also, if you have a computer with audacity and a mic input, plug your roland p-6 out into the mic input on your pc, and hit record on audacity. thank me later.
