Description

Experience the lush, vintage-inspired tones of the Ross R-88 Chorus pedal, a true-analog masterpiece that breathes new life into classic sounds. Built by JHS, this pedal is a tribute to the original Ross Chorus with a modern twist. At the heart of its captivating sound is the V3207 BBD chipset, delivering those warm, bucket-brigade chorus and vibrato effects that have been cherished for decades. With just two knobs—Rate and Depth—you can easily dial in a range of textures, from subtle shimmers to deep, swirling modulations.

Designed for versatility, the R-88 features a side switch that toggles between Classic Chorus and a captivating Pitch Vibrato mode, offering a palette of sonic possibilities. Whether you're crafting clean, shimmering layers or adding movement to your overdriven tones, this pedal adapts seamlessly to any musical style. The soft-touch bypass ensures silent switching, while the status LED keeps you informed about your signal's journey.

With a vintage-style slanted enclosure and recessed knobs, the Ross R-88 doesn’t just sound the part; it looks it too. Guitarists will appreciate the lowered noise floor and other modern enhancements that make this pedal a reliable partner on stage and in the studio. Connect it easily with 1/4” input and output jacks, and power it with a standard 9V DC supply. Embrace the legacy and innovation of Ross with this essential modulation tool in your arsenal.

an old analog chous

Mine was not working right last time I tried it, probably an easy fix. Nice warm chorus sound in the style of the CE2. Probably valuable because all the Ross effects have become quite collectible.

I had the Ross Chorus pedal that I found at the local music store in Cartersville. I gotta have distortion and I gotta have chorus. Like, what is this sound all over MTV that I don’t know how to get out of my amp?
