Critic Reviews

Skullcandy UpRock cheap headphones review - Tech Advisor

techadvisor.com

The Skullcandy Uprock headphones shine with a vibrant hot pink and neon blue design, making them a stylish choice for fashion-forward listeners. Their lightweight build and tangle-free flat cable enhance portability, perfect for on-the-go use. However, audiophiles may be disappointed by the sound quality; the headphones deliver a cluttered soundstage with overpowering bass, lacking the finesse needed for nuanced music. While they offer comfort with a double-cushion design, their tight fit might not be for everyone. Overall, the Uprock is a budget-friendly, visually appealing option, but falls short in audio performance for discerning listeners.

HEADPHONE REVIEW: Skullcandy Uprock | GMA News Online

gmanetwork.com

The Skullcandy Uprock headphones deliver on style and comfort at an affordable price. Lightweight and great for daily wear, they offer a snug fit ideal for casual activities and come with a tangle-free cord and a mic suitable for iPhone users. However, their short cord limits movement, and the small ear cups compromise sound depth, lacking the punch needed for genres like metal. While they perform adequately with rock, hip-hop, and reggae, they fall short in sonic clarity and durability. At around Php2,000, they are a decent choice in the lower mid-range, but don't expect high fidelity sound.

It has fair sound quality, and it is really durable

When you first ge the headphones you aren't really that amazed, but when you put them on they have pretty good sound quality. I will go insane with my headphones and whip them around. I've had these for a year now, and they have held up very well. They are also pretty comfortable, but will where out over time.
