All around GREAT hard clipping pedal!
Great little distortion pedal with some attitude. It's a cheaper pedal but I put it on my main board. It has a hot rodded JCM 800 vibe and it stacks well with other pedals. And more importantly, this pedal works REALLY well with modern modelers. Works with most of the patches in my Line 6 HX Stomp. Works really well in front of a tube amp as well. I like the flexibility and honestly if it had a momentary switch that switched between gain modes I'd give this a perfect 5 star review.
I tried swapping this pedal out for a Wampler Ratsbane but that pedal gave me a lot more trouble than I was willing to accept, and I put the Wild Fro back on my main pedal as my go do hard clipper. Highly recommend this pedal for the price, flexibility, real estate (It's small). It's super well constructed too and for a mini-pedal, it's HEAVY. Like, similar to the Xotic pedals in terms of weight for size.

In this video Bea demos the tone city wild fro. This is a pedal bea designed in collab with tone city. This is based off their wild fire pedal. This pedal spawned from a conversation between lee anderton, and bea about tone city pedals. Bea stated that he loved the wild fire but wished it had the option to have less gain for more strat style or lower gain playing. Andertons is an exclusive dealer of tone city, and thus, lee was able to get bea in touch with the guys at tone city to collab on this pedal
