Thanks to the generosity of Claes Johanson (owner of Vember Audio), Surge has been open sourced and lives on GitHub, and is now supported by a community of volunteer open source developers, designers, testers, musicians, synthesizer enthusiasts, and content creators.

Featuring many synthesis techniques, a great selection of filters, a flexible modulation engine, a smorgasbord of effects, and modern features like MPE and microtuning.

Surge is a wonderful tool. We love it. We think you will, too!

free & awesome!

There are tons of free vst synths, but not every free vst is good in terms of quality.
Surge one is of the best free synthesizer, that you can find online for free!.

A hidden gem for crafting awesome leads

This synth flies under the radar a bit, but I love it. I've made some awesome leads on it. Was introduced to it when I saw John Dahlback uses it.
