A serious sound machine!

This amp is the "big brother" of the VHT Special 6 and the special 12/20, i think.

Characteristics: On board watts attenuator. 9 volts output for effect pedals supply. Treble, Mid and Bass eq. controls knobs. Effects loop with volume controls for send and return. Presence control knob. Made in China. The sound of this VHT head is similar to the old Fender's Bassman amp (in my opinion, of course) because the pair of 6L6 power tubes configuration. There is a tube adaptor (sold separatly) for a EL34 power tubes, and the amp have Bias adjusment pots inside. The construction is very solid. Very quiet amp, no annoying noises detected when i'am playing in a bedroom volume. In higher volume levels (playing with a band for example) all the noises coming from the single coils of my strat or the effects pedals, cables, or another electric sources of noise, can be detected. But it's all right because no one of this issues comes innerently from the amp.

Totally recommended, if you wanna try it!

Junio D.
