Experience authentic tone and versatility with the Washburn Southside VGA 30, a dynamic combo guitar amplifier that caters to both budding musicians and seasoned artists. This powerhouse is designed to deliver a rich, responsive sound whether you're practicing at home or performing on stage. With its well designed solid state design, the VGA 30 offers a warm, vintage tone that is perfect for a wide range of musical genres, with a full clean sound and complex overdriven tone. This amplifier can stand alone with no pedals for low to medium overdriven tones, and can be pushed like a valve amp to get more distortion.
Now, talking about distortion, the VGA-30 is friendly with modulation and ambience effects, but the preamp is not so receptive to distortion pedals. The gain and level controls are much dependant of each other, and both makes the amp louder, so you'll have to dial and find a sweet spot to use with your drive pedals.
