Yamaha AES 620 Faded Burst (Honey)

Yamaha´s take on the Les Paul. This is, i believe the midrange model. Mahogany body, maple top. Big, chunky neck. Well built, great tone. I actually A/B´d this one with my -77 Gibson Les Paul when recording, and i always end up using this one for backing tracks.

Chunky and agressive

I picked up this guitar second hand in 2016. its last owner hadnt taken care of it and its pots were dead. after a rewire this guitar was incredible.

Its got a really chunky neck and the pickups are great. i have the guitar tuned to C so i can play QOTSA. great addition to my collection

Very Nice

The award-winning Yamaha AES620 guitar delivers the fat, punchy chord tones and the articulate, singing solo sounds only a single-cutaway set-neck guitar can deliver. Our unique "body-through" bridge blocks transmit more string vibration through the guitar body, while their offset placement tightens lows and focuses highs which delivers a more present, "woody," and musical sound.

All rounder!

Mine is in Faded Burst. Great player! Just needs a pot change (CTS required!) and Switchcraft jack input and toggle switch. Overall, is one of the best guitars produced in the 21st century. Too bad it was discontinued...
