Description
Japanese-made Nippon-Gakki FG-150's were made between 1967-1972.
From their release in October 1967, Japan-only models had a green label.
From 1967 onwards, red label FG-150's were made for export.
Earliest examples of the red label model (1967) had a bell shaped truss rod cover that said "Reinforced Neck" on it, though this was superseded by the standard more triangular looking cover which says, "Yamaha" on it.
Production of the model was moved from Japan to Taiwan in 1973.

Artist usage
Add artist
In the “Finn Wolfhard gets challenged by Mackenzie Davis to play iconic film scores on his guitar” you see that he uses this guitar. You can’t see the Yamaha logo because it’s covered by a capo, but in the movie When you finish saving the world, which he stars in alongside Julianne Moore, you can see that Finn’s uses this Guitar, with the same pickup as the pickup in the video. Which means it’s probably the same Guitar.
