Critic Reviews

FSX800C Review: This is an ideal starter guitar: slightly small, narrowed neck width,... | Yamaha | Acoustic Guitars | Reviews @ Ultimate-Guitar.Com

ultimate-guitar.com

With a score of 9.2 out of 10, the Yamaha FSX800C is lauded for its superb sound and playability, especially given its modest price tag. This guitar offers a versatile sound that shines both acoustically and when amplified, making it a great fit for various musical styles. While it lacks the prestige of a Taylor or Martin, its build quality and durability make it a reliable choice for both beginners and seasoned players. The only minor drawback noted is the need for tuner lubrication, but overall, the FSX800C is an impressive, affordable option for those seeking a solid, well-rounded acoustic guitar.

Have a very similar version.

I believe this is the right model but mine is brown sunburst. First real acoustic guitar as well. Sounds very good and works through a PA well. Tuner is amazing. Unfortunately mine has a small chip in the finish and might have minor wear on the trust rod from me over adjusting but seems fine now.
