Description
Introducing the Yamaha LL16D, an acoustic-electric guitar that marries superior craftsmanship and innovative design. This gem, part of Yamaha's esteemed L series, boasts a hand-selected premium Engelmann Spruce top, and solid rosewood back and sides, resulting in a rich, warm sound that resonates with every strum.
Thanks to Yamaha's pioneering A.R.E. (Acoustic Resonance Enhancement) technology, the Yamaha LL16D sings with the character and depth of a well-played vintage instrument. This process, which meticulously controls temperature, humidity, and atmospheric pressure, alters the molecular properties of the wood to mirror those of an aged guitar. The result is a rich, warm, and open resonance right out of the box.
The LL16D's playability is enhanced by a newly designed neck profile. After a thorough reevaluation of string spacing, string height, and fingerboard binding, the LL16D offers a stable grip and smooth playability across the full length of the neck.
The guitar also features a passive SRT Zero Impact pickup. This innovative system uses individual piezoelectric elements for each string, delivering a dynamic sound faithful to the character of the L Series, and giving the instrument exceptional presence, both unplugged and amplified.
