The company's reputation for meticulous component selection and hand-built quality helped it grow from a one-man operation into one of the most recognized independent effects brands.
The Keeley Compressor became the company's defining early product, with over 27,000 units sold, and remains one of the most respected studio-quality compressor pedals available to guitarists. Original designs span a wide range of effects, including the Katana Clean Boost, Luna Overdrive, Loomer fuzz and reverb combination, and the Dark Side multi-effect unit inspired by David Gilmour's tone palette. Keeley also collaborated with Peter Frampton on the Framptone, an amplifier switcher and talk box device.
