This is a great piece of software
I used to use cool edit years ago and when looking for some software for the PC this seemed like a natural choice, epecially as I'm a photoshop user as well. It's great. I've not seen much that this can't do and it's certainly got everything you need to mix a good track. I'm not sure the whole creative cloud thing though is a good option for home studios though so I think it'll die off in years to come. Shame.

Audio editing.
I have used this since the days when it was called Cool Edit Pro before Adobe bought out Syntrillium. Excellent editing software, though I am hesitant to upgrade due to this Adobe Creative Cloud stuff. Really, I have to subscribe now??? =\

At around 20:50, Laidback Luke mentions how he uses Adobe Audition for resampling.
42 minutes into Headhunterz Producer Masterclass, we see a waveform of a Hardstyle kick loaded into a new program. 43:21 into the video, we see a glimpse of the program name and more of its interface in the upper-left hand corner, 'Audition'. Adobe programs open on Mac OSes with just the program name next to the Apple logo, so it's a reasonable connection to make that the program is Adobe Audition.
Here you can see Hopsin using Adobe Audition and in the comments section you can see him telling a fan its Adobe Audition. Not sure if its CC or CS6.
