good vintage preset reverb
Good preset unit in rack form, but frankly since I have better alesis reverbs would only rebuy it if someone could clean it up through a mod. More functionalities than the nanoverb and midiverb I & II. It has a whole bank of reverse reverbs. Sonically similar to other alesis verbs of that era. Noisier and far less capable than its successor, but more pleasing sounds.

Can't live with it, can't live without it
This does a few things I like that subtly tuck into some mixes. Kinda like a reflex or alex where the room patches can really help dry guitar recordings... true to form for alesis verbs, it's on the dark side compared to competitive units of the area and downright murky compared to higher end stuff. These are cheap and well worth 50 bucks.
