Best expander/gates ever.
I have kepex IIs. As gates they are slightly better than kepex Is. The I was used to make the 'trem' sound on Floyd's Money by keying the expander from a metronome and these do that trick, but the gate is faster and more transparent for actual gating. These have been reissued in 500 series recently if you don't want to have to deal with an old 800 series rack with terminals on the back... the gatex is also very close as are the expanders/gates on the dynamite and 610 by VA. Cracking great stuff.
