Description

Embrace the spirit of heavy metal with the Jackson Pro Series Signature Marty Friedman MF-1. This guitar is more than just an instrument—it's a tribute to the legendary shredder, Marty Friedman, known for his work with Megadeth and Cacophony. The MF-1 captures Friedman's signature style, offering a blend of classic and modern features tailored for the discerning guitarist. Its striking cracked mirror top is as bold as Friedman's riffs, while the mahogany body and set-neck construction ensure rich, resonant tones and sustained notes.

Critic Reviews

Jackson unleashes the Marty Friedman Pro Series Signature MF-1 electric guitar

guitar.com

The Jackson Pro Series Signature MF-1 offers a blend of style and performance but falls short in innovation. Its striking Purple Mirror finish and solid build, featuring premium EMG pickups and robust hardware, make it visually and sonically appealing. However, the design feels too familiar, lacking the standout features that might justify its $1,199 price tag. While it caters well to aggressive playing and melodic interpretations, it may not resonate with guitarists seeking unique characteristics or cutting-edge technology. Overall, it’s a solid option, but you might want to explore other models for more distinctive offerings.

Jackson releases Marty Friedman's striking new signature model, the Pro Series Signature MF-1 Purple Mirror | Guitar World

guitarworld.com

The Jackson Pro Series Signature MF-1 in Purple Mirror is a stunning guitar that combines aesthetics with performance. Its eye-catching cracked purple mirror top and high-quality EMG pickups deliver an impressive tonal range, making it a solid choice for both visual appeal and sound. However, the price point of $1,199 may be a bit steep for some considering the competition in the market. Overall, while it may not suit every budget, this model stands out as an attractive and functional instrument worthy of a look for serious players.

it's a MIC and you can see that

This Guitar is really beautiful but unfortunately the QC is very poor especially for a pro signature and for a guitar at this price.

Here is the default I had to correct before it become a usable guitar

  • Glue stains all over the bridge

  • The toggle switch was badly solder

  • Both pickups were moving to much

  • The guitar nut was badly carved

Why Jackson still continu to craft Pro series in China? My first and last MIC!
