Lush sounding analogue chorus. Pairs well with bass guitar
I own Mindblender v2 which is essentially a change of housing. Prefer the slick metallic blue chassis (I purchased this via Amazon in 2017). It's a pity that BBE did not make any functional improvements. Would prefer if there is a blend knob as this pedal sounds rather lush. It works if you are going for an analogue sound. It paired nicely with my bass guitar as I do not lose my bottom end. Gives a nice vintage vibe. I do not like the vibrato mode as there's some modulation. I prefer TC electronic's mini shaker pedal for a clean natural vibrato sound for my bass.
I didn't like the mix when i paired with my acoustic guitar and strat. Rather overwhelming and loss in clarity when strumming. Good that it is powered by standard 9V. But the unit is rather bulky and heavy. I'm still keeping this unit because at this price point, it's a good sounding vintage chorus for bass.
