The mustache-and-monocle iteration is plagued by persistent glitchy noise, marring its usability. Despite retaining some positive traits like rugged construction and true bypass, the removal of the -15 dB switch and introduction of clicking artifacts make it hard to recommend. If you can find the original model, it's a gem; otherwise, steer clear of the newer, noisier versions.
