Review for people never had compressor before
At first don't believe people people telling this is fake. This is vintage compressor. It is very low everything, low ratio(I'm not sure it is constant), low speed, low output (unless you max sustain knob). Some people love this type of compression and similar boxes can be very expensive, but for beginners it is like wanting to buy cheese and getting feta cheese. Raising sustain adds also some blur to playing. side effect of being mild everything it has no noise on all settings. What I really don't understand setting sustain 3 o'clock and level 9 o'clock give less compression than setting level on 12.
Anyway it's interesting as always on compressor for silent playing. I placed pedal last in chain. It removed fizziness from my DS-1 without adding much noise.
The build is not the best. On off switch works very hard and loud.

Its a compressor
It does what it says. You can find them under $50. If you've never used a compressor and want to find out how and why, try this one first. If you like it, hooray, it was cheap. If you want a better one later, at least it was cheap. It's footprint seems slightly larger than your average pedal, and you'll have to rip off the rubber bottom if you want to velcro it to your board. Whatever Joyo used as a foot does not like velcro to stick to it.

Best bang for the buck, but not the best Compressor
This is a "light compressor" in the vein of the ROSS Comp. Great quality and low noise. Some "Industry Standard/Studio Standard" Comps can be a bit noisy. Very Close to MXR Super Comp M132.

Does what is says on the tin at a very affordable price
Based allegedly on the MXR Dynacomp, this is a great pedal, it sounds fairly transparent but can add a little 'squash' to your tone as required and enhance sustain too.

It's a compressor - nuff said
Nice subtle squash - perfect for single coils, it's a compressor, is it worth going nuts on such a subtle effect? it does the job very well, I leave it on the whole time, it's tonally transparent and doesn't suck too much unless you really turn up the attack.
