The Carlsbro Suzz pedal is a sustain/fuzz pedal that has become legendary for its incredibly gnarly and nasty fuzz tones. From the short-lived 'Alu-Series' of British made effects, produced by Carlsbro in the late 70s and earky 80s. The idea was to drive the preamp stage of the big old valve amps (before the days when Master Volume became the norm), providing a fuller sound, more sustain & a supposedly clean boost.
