Shrunk down in size but not in power, the Way Huge Swollen Pickle MkIIS is a fuzz effects pedal that packs a punch. Offering the same high-gain fuzz of its full-sized counterpart, the MkIIS lets you dial in everything from a mild crunch to full-blown Armageddon, all while maintaining remarkable girth and sizzle. Thanks to the extensive range of the Filter control, you can experiment with heavily bandpass-filtered tones, while the Loudness knob ensures you've got enough volume to take on any amp.
This compact effects pedal doesn't skimp on controls either. The Scoop tone stack control lets you switch between the classic Swollen Pickle mid-scoop or a flat mid-frequency sweep, while the Crunch knob adjusts the compression intensity of the fuzz. The MkIIS even includes two internal mini controls - Voice and Clip - for fine-tuning the intensity of the mid cut and the fuzz sustain. Not the one
I have had the MkIIs for about a year now and all I can say is this is not the fuzz for me. I keep tweaking the knobs and I never seem to find a tone I can say “this is it”. The filter knob is only usable on the right side, otherwise it gets awfully muddy. As if I were playing with a pillow in front of the speakers. The “secret” trimpots inside should really be in front of the pedal. It doesn’t make sense having to open it every time I’m not satisfied with the tones coming from the crunch and scoop knobs. I really like way huge and they make awesome pedals, but for a super versatile fuzz, this is not the one.

Versatile Fuzz.
There are so many ways to shape the tone, fuzz, thickness, whatever you want to call it. 5 external knobs and 2 internal (important) knobs to help with that. I've gotten stoner rock tones and I've also gotten a Bluesy sound when combined with a TS808 pedal. The main thing about this is that the Fuzz tone is THIQ with a capital Q. I like it. Hope this helps.
