Description

The pedal that started it all for Creepy Fingers Effects. The Sugarboost is back! Based on the Dallas Rangemaster made famous by musicians like Tony lommi and Brian May. While capable of the classic treble crunch of the original, the Sugarboost shines as a full range booster. Tones bordering on fuzz at full tilt. Low end adjustable with the thin/fat knob. Gentle to slamming boost on tap. A pedal you'll want to leave on all the time. Pristine clean up with the guitar's volume knob, rich overdrive and distortion when pummeling the input of an overdriven amplifier. New version includes a switch to engage a germanium clipping mode. Adds fuzzy compression and sag reminiscent of a tube amp pushed to the limits of its output section. Makes for a flexible addition when stacking pedals either before or after. Available with vintage RCA germanium or the Raytheon house number transistor that put the Sugarboost on the map. Housed in the new Creepyfingers 2 knob all steel enclosures and featuring old school 3 color silkscreen artwork. High quality switchcraft jacks, WIMA caps, and true bypass switching. Common negative ground power compatible with modern power supplies.
