Description
Eclipsa is a full rotary cabinet recreation of the iconic Yamaha RA-200, capturing the movement, depth and tonal complexity of its complete multi-speaker system, where rotating and static drivers interact to create the cabinet’s signature sound. Its rotary engine allows finely tuned control over behavior, with smooth transitions between speeds, adjustable mic simulation distance and a variable mix between rotating and static speakers. An expression input adds continuous speed control, while three LEDs visually track rotors motion and depth settings in real time.
Alongside the rotary cabinet section, Eclipsa also features an Alembic F-2B–style preamp implemented with FET technology, preserving the clarity, warmth and musical response of classic tube design. The preamp’s Volume, Bass, Middle, Treble and Bright controls provide wide tonal flexibility, shaping everything from open, sparkling cleans to more driven, harmonically rich textures. A Peak indicator ensures proper gain staging, making it easy to set the ideal level before feeding the rotary section.
Built for professional rigs, Eclipsa supports both mono and stereo output configurations for live and studio use. A magnetic relay switching system ensures silent and reliable operation, while full MIDI implementation enables comprehensive parameter control across complex rigs. With 127 onboard presets, Eclipsa allows complete performance setups to be stored and recalled with consistency and precision. The custom CNC-machined, anodized aluminum enclosure provides long-term durability and mechanical stability for demanding professional use.
A legendary rotary cabinet and a studio-grade preamp — engineered as a single, uncompromising instrument.

In a Facebook post by Dawner Prince Electronics a picture of an Eclipsa Triple Rotary box is shown with the order from David Gilmour. It will likely tested to see if it can emulate his Yamaha RA200 rotary unit live as he has done with his Binson Echorec 2 being replaced by a Dawner Prince Boonar
