Description
Step into a world of sonic exploration with the Death By Audio Micro Harmonic Transformer. This compact powerhouse is crafted for guitarists and synth enthusiasts alike, boasting the same crunchy harmonic saturation and distortion as its iconic predecessor, but in a pedalboard-friendly size. With six specially-tuned transistors, this pedal activates only when a signal is present, offering a dynamic range of tones from ripping fuzz to squelchy feedback that pushes the boundaries of traditional fuzz pedals.
The intuitive control layout makes tone shaping a breeze. The Intensity Switch allows you to toggle between natural harmonic overdrive or an aggressive fuzz with extended harmonics. Meanwhile, the Harmonic Shape switch lets you choose between two unique filter arrays, offering either a warm, organic crunch or a dry, mid-scooped attack. The Volume knob delivers a robust output, perfect for driving your amp into gritty overdrive or for experimenting with innovative pedalboard arrangements.
Whether you're looking to breathe life into vintage synthesizers, add raw power to drum machines, or transform your guitar tone with articulate saturation and dirt, the Micro Harmonic Transformer offers versatility and a touch of the unexpected. It's not just a pedal; it's an invitation to explore new tonal landscapes.

Funny, expensive and not versatile
This is a funny pedal, I will give that. It's weird, the sounds are not that useful, sound bad on the neck of my strats and les pauls, but good on the bridge. If you want bluesy sounds, of course you won't find them here. If you want doom and rage, you will! It has only a few sound variations, responds well to guitar volume and tone BUT the results and not useful to me. At least I haven't found any use YET. I wouldn't pay that much for it if I had tried before, for sure. But I'm not returning it also or either considering selling it any soon, because it DOES sound different from the (tons) of fuzzes I have. I just think it costs a little too much for too little, but if you consider the fact that isn't just another muff, bender or fuzz face, it is something to have.
UPDATE: about the "responds well to the volume but the sounds are not useful to me", well, musically I won't use them, but tried to add tons of delay and reverb and you can really use those in a musical context. I bet a shimmer would sound interesting as well. Worth trying!
