The VH4 boasts of four independent channels - Clean, Crunch, Mega, and Lead, each one offering a unique tonal range and character. The Clean channel shines with Diezel's signature sparkling chime, while the Crunch channel delivers classic rock rhythm and leads. Channel 3....what else!
The channel that this amp is famous for is responsible for 70% of The Prophecy's distorted tones since 'Into the Light' - often blended with a more aggressive and less refined amplifier in the studio. The VH4 provides the champagne smooth saturation to Greg's Engl Savage or Laboga Mr. Hector throaty dirt when layering multiple layers or distortion or recording with dual amplifiers from a single D.I/live guitar.

Matt Bellamy has consistently recorded and performed with the Diezel VH4. According to Bellamy, he uses the amp for its high-gain tone and to provide more saturation and sustain when blended with a Vox AC30.
Hammett can be seen with this amplifier in the background. It is said that Metallica used these German, handmade amps in the 1990's
So on to Th1rt3en, what did you use amp-wise? ** For the rhythms it was a mix of the Diezel VH4** and the Bogner Uberschall. It was a very good combination. I felt they complimented each other really well. And for the leads it was just the Bogner Uberschall. Those were [producer] Johnny K’s amps and those were amps that he really liked. When we looked at how those amps sounded in the mix, they definitely fit the sound the best out of all the amps we had.

According to Corgan, this amp was used on the Machina tour in an isolation cabinet offstage to layer with his stage amp.
This has some sticker labels on it, but the tolex itself is in good condition, with no major blemishes. Overall, mostly clean cosmetic condition.
Master volume pot is very scratchy. All other channels and controls work as they should.
Power cord is not included."
