Highly underrated
This is my first reverb that I spent over 200 for, and it was worth the purchase. It's nothing like Strymon's Blue Sky or Eventide's Space, but I think it certainly has its pros over those top notch reverb. For instance, the 'gold plate' setting is really a clean reverb and having a 'dynamix' knob means you can control when the reverb takes affect when your playing, allowing you to eliminate any possible muddiness or clipping. The 'spring' is alright on it, although I do not normally prefer that mode for my playing style so I mostly switch between the 'hall', 'plate', and 'room' settings. I feel that this pedal really nails the 'small room' echo. It makes me think that my guitar is coming from a different room of my house! The 'hall' is not blue sky lush, but it can clean and epic feeling and I cannot find anything to complain about it other than what it's not. Really, a wonderful studio reverb.

A great and reliable piece.
It has been one of the best reverb unit I have ever used, specially with an analog mixer XONE92. perfect fit to be used as a effect return.

Brent uses a TC Electronic NR-1, according to TC Electronic's website.
"Squire, who felt that certain effects were better matched with neck or bridge pickups, rewired his Rickenbacker with stereo outputs in the early ’70s. Onstage, he used a boatload of vintage effects, including Maestro Fuzz-Tone, TC Electronic Stereo Chorus Flanger, TC Nova Reverb, Boss OC-3 Super Octave, Mu-Tron III, and custom-made tremolo pedals. He played Moog Taurus bass pedals, eventually triggering samples from an E-Mu ESI2000 sampler."
From Tone King video, explaining his effects setup, with Jeordie and his guitar tech, as a guitarist instead of bassist for Marilyn Manson. This pedal belongs to the Nova line of effects and is described as a programmable, digital reverb.
According to LA Sound Design, the TC Electronic NR-1 was added to Tim Mahoney's overseas touring rack replacement board.
"The board is set up so that he can run a Volume pedal and Nova Delay in the loop of his Dist amp and a Volume pedal, Nova Delay and Nova Reverb in the loop of his clean heads in stereo. A custom power supply was built as well as the custom interface with Jensen ISO transfromer. Tim will use this along with his giant board in front of the amps."
