In the image you can see Paul behind his very first Amplifier. At around 1:59 in this Video Paul is talking about his very first amplifier. He got it at the age of 14. The Elpico was designed to amplify two microphones and one grammophone. Paul used it as a guitar amp.
On Dave's official site, Dave says about this amp in an excerpt from 'Kink' - An Autobiography by Dave Davies © 1996 "Ironically, it was that sound, which we used on 'You Really Got Me,' that got the Kinks our first hit."
"Studio, I have a whole set of other things that I don't bring out for tour, like I'm a fan of, um, like, I don't believe in the studio of using distortion pedals, so I just got lots of little amps. So I have like, uh... (...) Just found, uh, McCartney's first amp. He had an Elpico, his main amp... I been lookin' for one of those forever and just found one, like, two years ago."

This amp was used by David on their 2020 album Kompromat, it belongs to Green Mount Studios where they recorded the album. It was noticeably used to get the distorted guitar on the opening track, A Steady Hand, as mentioned by David on the Tim's Listening Party here: https://timstwitterlisteningparty.com/pages/replay/feed_441.html
