Sexy and cool twist on a classic.
Most of my guitar heroes play (or have played) Telecasters. So, time for some hero worship. It's a fabulously modded guitar. Strip back the ageing and it's a hot Tele, but still genetically Leo's baby through and through. It's got a rougher, snarlier tone than my other teles, but musically so, and pushes my Princeton just a touch harder. I'm not generally a fan of Rosewood finger-boards, hence the star knocked off, but that's purely personal preference. I personally didn;t use the included stickers to make it 100% Strummer perfect, and instead used a few I've collected along the way. I'm sure Joe wouldn't have minded.
Who wouldn't love this guitar?
What punk rocker wouldn't love this guitar, c'mon! I can't write a proper review because I haven't really played it. I do take it out of it's case and look at it from time to time. I'm still learning to play so I'm sticking to my Austin acoustic (yeah, I know, fancy stuff, but it works for me.)

#teletuesday with @pippadarlin @fender This tele is a 2007 joe strummer artist series ... his original guitar was a 1966 sunburst. Joe being joe spray painted it black and gray and gave it many face lifts over the years. Me being me and in the spirit of Joe sanded it completely down and then added elements of my roots ... the Ohio license plate and my parents birth year. #joestrummer #theclash
